What Does Easter Mean To You?

As we approach Resurrection Day, my thoughts turn to what Easter means to me…..and to you. Of course, it means all the traditional things to us, but there is more….so much more. Easter means:

• new life
• being given things I do not deserve
• family around the table
• spring
• buds and blooms
• dogwood trees in full bloom
• promises fulfilled 
• eternity with Jesus
• georgia mountain passion play
• little girls in pastel dresses
• indwelling Holy Spirit
• green grass
• return of the hummingbirds
• peace in my heart
• hope of Jesus soon return
• reminder of Jesus’ servant heart
• our difficult times may be our finest hours
• forgiveness…there is always forgiveness
