I just had to share with you a picture from the weekend. I spoke at a weekend retreat for the sweetest and most fun group of ladies from Peachtree Baptist Church in Byron Georgia. This wild and crazy group came to the mountains to spend time with the Lord. This picture was taken on Saturday at noon atop Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, GA which is about 20 miles from my home.
At the top of Bell Mountain most of the exposed rocks are spray painted with names of people who have made the trek up the mountain. My message to the ladies while we sat atop the mountain was on building our legacy. I had no idea before we got to the top that all the spray painted names would be on top of the mountain, but it was a graphic visual of how everyone wants make a name for themselves, i.e. leave a legacy.
It was such an awesome weekend. Thanks PBC ladies for allowing me to serve you. You were such a blast!!
