Lord Jesus,
I hope you don’t mind if I rant and rave a few minutes and tell on Satan. I get so stinkin’ tired of him inserting his nosey nose into the lives of my friends and family that I just want to punch him. The gall of him to try to mess up the lives of people who love the Lord!!
Yes, I know he has been doing it for eons but it doesn’t make me have to like it. He just thinks that we are his playthings and the more havoc he can get us to create, the better he likes it. Marriages wrecked, drugs and alcohol abused, depression that debilitates, fear that incapacitates, anxiety that binds and the list goes on and on. I can just see him smirking and laughing at how we help him accomplish his evil purposes by buying into his lies.
Well, I’ve had it. He isn’t going to win with my family and friends if my prayers can make a difference. Satan, you have NO AUTHORITY HERE!! You are a defeated foe!! You may not be willing to realize it, but I’m telling you, in the name of Jesus, that when all is said and done, it is the fire pit for you, buster. My Jesus is stronger than you and He has already stomped all over your puny little head.
Lord Jesus, in your precious name, I ask you to protect my loved ones from the evil one. Open their eyes so they can see his sinister plot to destroy them. Help them to WISE UP and REACH UP. Give them strength to battle Satan and his demons and WIN!! Thank you, Lord, that we don’t face any battle that you haven’t already won!! To the praise of your glorious name!! Amen!
