Tasting Grace: A Mentoring in the Kitchen Ministry
At least once a quarter I plan a menu, toss out an invite, and welcome a handful of ladies, young and not-so-young, into my home. We have a short devotional time, then we move into the kitchen. Over the course of the next hour or two, I teach the ladies to make a homemade dish or two. Homemade biscuits, chicken noodle soup, cornbread, chicken and dumplings, cobblers, cakes, vegetables, and so much else finds its way to the menu. It is a sweet time of cooking and fellowship.
In addition to the regular sessions, I also offer Tasting Grace sessions for brides and their bridesmaids, girls (or guys) night out, couples events, mother-daughter get togethers, birthday parties, etc. These are fun, group based events that can be held in my kitchen or yours!
Registration is NOW OPEN for the Winter Sessions of Tasting Grace in my kitchen!
I am offering two sessions: January 9th and February 13th.
The same menu will be prepared at both sessions: Chicken and Dumplings and Cream Cheese Pound Cake
You really get a two-fer with this menu. When you make the dough for the dumplings you are making biscuit dough. So, you will learn how to make homemade biscuits and chicken and dumplings!! Yay!
So, invite a friend or come alone. Either way, you will have fun, meet new people, and learn to prepare some amazing dishes. Register today because these sessions fill up fast.
