For months and months, my sweet friend, Jan Morton and I have looked ahead to this day. We have worked, written, cooked, planned, prayed, and hoped for today. Our hearts are so full over what happens today, because our hearts are completely taken with Tasting Grace.
Today, our book, Tasting Grace, is born, launched, put out there for all the world to see and purchase. We are excited and nervous to see how you like it. We have never been more certain of anything in this world as we are that God ordained Tasting Grace for such a time as this.
Women need other women as never before. How many real-life, face-to-face, heart-to-heart conversations do you have in a day? Our guess is that most of us have less than a handful. On the flip side, many of us converse via email and text messaging as often as we have face-to-face conversations. Maybe more often. Friends, this is not how it should be.
We were made for conversation, for intimacy, for sharing, for relationship. This is why Jan and I are so excited about Tasting Grace. This book is a beautiful tool from God to encourage women to do life, face-to-face, with other women. It is exactly what Paul wrote about in Titus when he encouraged the older women to mentor the younger women. Y’all, this book will help you be obedient to the call of God to speak into the lives of younger and younger-in-the-faith women.
