~ Tasting Grace ~
When I think of those words, my heart is immediately warmed. In case you are not familiar with the most-est, fun-est ministry that God has ever allowed me to do, let me give you my elevator version of the description.
Tasting Grace is my mentoring-in-the-kitchen ministry that allows me to invite women (age 13 and up) into my kitchen to share Jesus and cooking for a couple of hours once a month. Many women have never had the opportunity to stand alongside their mom or grandma or another woman to learn how to cook. So often our modern day default is fast food or frozen dinners. But, it does not have to be that way!
Ladies, our Bible tells us that it is the job of the older women (**cough, cough** that is me, and maybe you too) to teach the younger women how to keep their homes and serve their families. There are many ways to do that, but the way the Lord has me doing it is to carve out time to bring ladies into my kitchen to cook.
Registration is now open for the spring sessions of Tasting Grace. We will be learning how to can homemade strawberry (or other fruit) jam. We will also learn to make my all-time favorite salad ~ Mexican Layered Chicken Salad. I only have a few spaces left for these spring sessions, so if you would like more information about Tasting Grace or are interested in being part of a session, please click HERE to learn more.
