Today’s post…this very one you are reading…is post #1000 for me. One thousand posts, and a gazillion words.
As I ponder this milestone, I must ask myself some questions.
Have my posts been pleasing to God?
Have my posts encouraged others to pursue Jesus more intently?
Have my posts been effective teachers of Scripture?
Those are the goals of my writing….to POINT others to Jesus through the teaching of His Word.
I’m so grateful to you, my readers, for taking time to read my words, and encourage me with your comments and emails. You have no idea how blessed that makes me feel. I pray you and Jesus have some sweet time together each time you read what He gives me to write. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading.
Today, I would like to offer you links to a few of my favorite posts from down through the years. I also would like to hear from you about a post or posts that have been particularly meaningful to you. Here are my offerings:
Crazy Dog – This is a post that was first offered as part of my email ministry in 2004. It was first posted on the blog in 2008.
Israel Trip – There were a series of posts in November 2010 that were focused on sharing a bit about my 2nd trip to Israel. I am linking to the one that really held the most meaning to me, our visit at the Jerusalem Prayer Center. The JPC was unbelievable. I would make the trip back to Israel just to spend time there again.
Slaying the Green-Eyed Monster – This post was the result of a lesson the Lord taught me about jealousy. While the lesson was not fun, it has certainly stayed with me.
Contentment – This post detailed my journey toward being content where God has me in the season I am in. Contentment is a wonderful thing.
Dear reader, is there a post of mine that was especially meaningful to you? I would love to hear which one it was and how it spoke to you.
Thank you again for your dedicated presence here. You are a blessing to me.
