My man just returned from a hunting trip to Oklahoma!! I am so glad he is back. Now, understand that I thought when he left that he was going hunting for more big deer like the ones he already has. For those of you who are new to my blog, my man is a H-U-N-T-E-R. We have all varieties of dead animals hanging in our home. Many (like 7 or 8) BIG deer. I’m talking big, big deer. We don’t have deer like this in the south. These are Wisconsin deer and our southern deer would say, “Yes, sir” to these big guys. Anyway, I digress. We have deer, a bear, turkey fans, birds of all varieties, an elk, a coyote, etc, etc.
So, after the hunt has commenced I learn that he is in Oklahoma hunting ‘exotic’ animals. I’m so excited!! Today I got the official pictures from the hunt and felt moved by the Spirit to share them with you.
When my man got home we had this interesting conversation. He knows me all too well as you will see.
Leah: “I got the pictures from the hunt that you emailed me.”
My Man: “What did you think?”
Leah: “Nice.” (couldn’t muster too much enthusiasm–will have to practice for future)
My Man: “What you are really thinking is ‘Where in the sam hill are we going to put these things?’, isn’t it?”
Leah: “Yep, that was pretty much it.”
After Greg sees this post, he will remind me of what each of these critters are and I’ll post it. I know you will be waiting breathlessly on the edge of your computer chair!!
Actually, I don’t mind him hunting. He certainly could be doing much worse with his time. I am blessed!!
