Thank you for joining me for Living Thankful! I hope you are being INTENTIONALLY thankful these days and not overlooking the blessings in your life. Are you thankful for that extra hour of sleep you got last night because of the time change? You know…spring ahead, fall back. Well, we just fell back here in the Northern Hemisphere, so we gained an extra hour of sleep last night. Yahoo!!!!
Today, as I prepare to go to church and worship Jesus, I am thankful I live in a nation where I am free to worship. I do not have to worry about the police raiding my worship service and hauling people off to prison because they worship Jesus. I have free access to the Bible. In fact, most of us have multiple Bibles in our homes. Friends, do you realize what a privilege it is to have unhindered access to the Word of God? Millions of Christians around the world are not so blessed.
Thank you, Lord, that I can worship freely and read the Bible without fear of persecution.
