In all likelihood, as you read this post, I am in South Carolina at Westminster Baptist Church, along with my ministry partner, Kristin, serving the ladies of that church at their ladies event. Kristin and I have been eagerly anticipating being with these ladies and I am sure you will hear more about this later.

Today on Day 5 of Living Thankful, I am thankful that God uses broken and messed upĀ things to do His Kingdom work. No one has been more broken and messed up than me. I spent years in rebellion toward God, but He never let me go; He never turned away from me. Once He saved me when I was 15, He has held me securely in the palm of His hand since. Nothing can ever separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Not even my rebellion all those years could cause God to revoke my salvation. PRAISE JESUS!!

I am so thankful that not only did God save me, but He called me back to Him in the midst of my rebellion. More than that, He uses me to point others to Jesus! What ridiculous grace! I love ministry! I love speaking and writing and hearing how what God gives me touches the hearts of others. I love it and I am so thankful God allows me the privilege.

I am Living Thankful to be able to serve the church of Jesus Christ in ministry.
