Those who know me would immediately tell you I am a controller.
God would second that!
I’m learning, however, that I really control very little.
As I type, I think about at least a dozen significant prayer needs that have been voiced to me from friends who trust me to pray.
The needs are varied and deep.
They are personal and precious.
They are private and urgent.
As I think about them, I’m so glad that finding solutions to these needs is not my responsibility.
I am grateful I can place a need on my open palm, raise it heavenward, and ask Jesus to take and handle it.
God is too good to be unkind; He is too wise to be mistaken.
When you cannot trace His hand, you can always trust His heart.
CH Spurgeon
Jesus loved us enough to die for us. May you and I trust His heart of love toward us completely.
