Jerusalem

Today we pray, not for the church specifically, but for a nation whom God commands us to pray. I believe that any prayer effort for the church would not be complete if we did not pray for the peace of Jerusalem. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we are really praying for Jesus to return to earth. It is only when He reigns on this earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords that Jerusalem and Israel will know true peace.

Pray for the Jewish people–that they might know our Jesus personally as Messiah.

I wanted to share with you a beautifully tender post that my friend, Cindy Cain, wrote about a journey she took recently.
