It’s a new month and we have a new group of HEART NOTES. March, the month of St. Patrick. The month that is traditionally associated with the ‘luck ‘o the Irish’. While this month’s FREE printable is adorned with clovers and green, the verses are all about faith….specifically faith in God, and in Jesus Christ.
Faith is so much better than luck. Faith is certainty, while luck is based on uncertainty. I’m getting ahead of myself. First, let’s make sure you have the FREE printable. Click the link below to download and print the page on which our March verses for a more intimate walk with Jesus are offered.

Now, on to our first memory verse of March. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) nails faith. I believe committing this verse to memory could be a game changer for so many of us.
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
You and I place hope in all sorts of things:
- We hope the airplane we ride in will stay airborne.
- We hope the food we eat is not poisoned.
- We hope our spouses will be true to our marriage vows.
- We hope the earth will not move closer to the sun, and scorch us all to death.
- We hope the car we are meeting stays in the proper lane.
- We hope our children do not make poor life choices.
- We hope our doctor does not speak the dreaded ‘C’ word—cancer.
We win some, we lose some.
The book of Hebrews is all about having faith in God, and in His Son, Jesus Christ. It is about Jesus offering us a better way to heaven and right standing with God than the Old Testament sacrifices provided. This is something that we can have complete faith in because God promised, and He always keeps His promises.
We hope we will go to heaven when we die.
We can be sure that we will, if we accept Jesus’ death on the cross as payment for our sins.
We think that heaven exists.
We can be certain it does, because Jesus promised to prepare a place for us there.
We hope we make godly life choices.
We can be sure we will, if we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit who lives in our hearts once we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
We hope that some ultimate good will come out of trials and difficulties in life.
We can be certain that God will work all things out for our good, because we love Him and follow Him.
We hope our prayers are going above the ceiling, and hitting the ears of God.
We can sure God hears our prayers, if we pray according to His will, because Jesus is interceding for us, as He sits beside God in heaven.
FAITH is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see.
How’s your faith today?
