Hello friends,
Today I offer you the final Heart Notes verses for 2014. We have journeyed all over the Word of God, and learned a passel of verses in 2014. Today we finish with two of my favorite verses. (I know, I know, I have a lot of favorite verses.) But, really, today’s verses are so full of worship and Jesus. I hope you will take time to really meditate on these two verses from the tiny book of Jude. I memorized these verses a few years ago, and I just am crazy about them.
Â
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. Jude 25-25 (NKJV)
I want to stand up and shout when I read these verses. The fact that He is able to keep me from stumbling slays me. I stumble so often, yet I don’t have to, because Jesus can keep me from it. Not only can He keep me from stumbling, but friend, He can present me FAULTLESS before the throne of God in heaven. Now, that is worth shouting about! Me! Prone-to-sin, rebellious to the core Leah. Blows me away every time I think about it.
Please take time to meditate on these verses. Memorize them and pray them. I love to end a prayer with these verses. They are powerful and encouraging.
I hope you have a  Merry Christmas, dear reader. I will be taking off most of this week and next, but will be here next Monday to tell you about my new 2015 Monday series. I am so excited about it, so join me back here next Monday.
