Today, it is my pleasure to feature one post that really resonated with me from last week’s link up. While there were so many great posts linked up, I knew immediately that this was the one I was to feature this week. The post was written by Tammy Provins, and was entitled ‘Rooted’. Tammy’s website is called ‘Grace in the Everyday’ and is such a lovely place to visit. Tammy and her husband, Scott, pastor an English speaking church in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Antioch Community Outreach. They have two grown children, Brandon and Tiffany. Tammy’s testimony is compelling…a story of redemption and grace. Her heart is for others to know of Jesus’ redeeming grace.
Here is a snippet from Tammy’s post, “Rooted”. I hope you will visit her blog to read the rest. You will be blessed!
But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
I remember the day my body began to shut down. I had been sick for many days and not drinking enough fluids. I had hit the first stages of dehydration and my body was reacting. It was a terrible feeling, an awful state to be at. I reached for the electrolytes and rapidly I began to fill my body back up with fluids. Thankfully, it helped and I didn’t need a hospital visit.
All living things need water to survive. I needed fluids that day to replenish my body. I wasn’t taking care of myself like I should and when the sickness hit my body it was drying up, dying.
Thanks for linking up with us last week, Tammy. Feel free to grab a featured button below!
