{#50} – sunshine – It seems that it has been a cloudy, gloomy winter here in north Georgia, but over the past week we have seen days of beautiful sunshine. I love winter and the cold temperatures, but sometimes I just need to see the sun!! Thank you, Lord!
{#51} – weekend friends – Last weekend our friend, Bree, spent Friday and Saturday nights with us. Her 21st birthday is coming up, so I wanted to pamper and spoil her. Greg and I fixed her favorite breakfast on Saturday (biscuits, eggs, bacon, gravy). She and I went for pedicures and shopping on Saturday and she attended church with us on Sunday. Sunday lunch was another favorite of hers…….Creamy Chicken Enchiladas!! Mmmm!! I think she had a good weekend and I know Greg and I were blessed.
{#52} – the picture of the exalted Christ in Revelation 1! Wow!!
{#53} – a buy two, get one free sale. YES!!!
{#54} – winter foliage that delights the eye – In my yard I have two plants that offer a beautiful bit of color in the winter. The first is my arborvitae bush. In the winter it has gold foliage, while in the summer it is a beautiful green. I love the contrast of colors this bush offers. The other bit of beauty in my garden is in the form of my Lenten Roses. I have pink and cream blooms on my plants.
{#55} – potluck lunch with Bible study friends as we celebrate the end of another great Bible study.
{#56} – memories of how the Lord used the Beth Moore Bible study Believing God to challenge and grow my faith 10 years ago. God IS Who He says He is! God can do what He says He can do. I am who God says I am. I can do all things through Christ. God’s Word is alive and active in Me. I’m believing God!!!
{#57} – Scripture in my inbox – My sweet friend, Jan Morton, started a Bible verse exchange and I decided to participate. It has been such a blessing as people I don’t even know send me Bible verses. All of the verses are familiar to me, but as they come to my inbox, I am reading them and allowing them to speak a fresh word to me. Praise God!!
{#58} – a redeemed past – I made many poor choices in my younger years. Praise God, He is able to redeem the worst mistakes and use them for His glory.
{#59} – a good report for my man from a medical test! Praise Jesus!!
What blessings are you counting today?
