Welcome back to Challenge 2010!! If you are new to The Point, Challenge 2010 is all about hiding God’s Word in our hearts. We are seeking to memorize 24 new Scriptures in 2010~~two each month. We start on the 1st of the month with one verse and work on memorizing it until the 15th of the month. On the 15th of the month, we choose a 2nd verse and memorize it for the remainder of the month. Easy, huh? Join us!! It is NEVER too late to start memorizing God’s Word.

Before I give you my verse for these final weeks of March, I want to make a comment about one of my recent posts. It was this post where I confessed my own forgetfulness. I was so thankful for your gracious comments, but what really blew my mind was the fact that I had so many ladies tell me (either via a comment on the blog or in person) how much better it made them feel to know that I had messed up. Girls (and guys), I mess up so often. Please forgive me if I have given the impression that I have it all together!! So often I just feel like I get it together and it falls apart again. Perhaps I am able to cover up better than most and that is just plain wrong. I am loaded with warts and faults and no different than any other person walking around in a tent of flesh.

But the grace of Christ….ah, that is what covers my warts and faults. It doesn’t cover them so YOU can’t see them, but it covers them so God doesn’t see them. Oh, I am far from perfect and I mess up way more than I want to, but God doesn’t see me as faulty. He sees me through the blood of Jesus…He sees me as righteous and holy. How about you?

Ok, now on to my verse 6. Again, I am working on memorizing all of Psalm 139 this year. So my verse for this two week period is Psalm 139: 6. Here it is:

Psalm 139: 6 (NIV)
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me
to attain.

Now, it’s your turn. Leave a comment telling us what verse you will be memorizing this time. Also include your name, where you live, what translation of the Bible the verse is from and don’t forget to write out the whole verse.

Keep up the good work. You will not be sorry!!

PS: I have to work today. A Monday in a pharmacy is a busy time, so it may be evening before I get comments moderated. Be patient and don’t give up. Your verses will show up.
