I just would like to whine a minute if I may. The past two days have been gross!! I am finally back online but it has been rough. I thought I was doing the right thing by switching ISPs because of all the porn spam I was getting. Now, I am just so frustrated that I think the spam might have been preferable (just kidding).
I got my new modem yesterday but it didn’t work. I spent almost 2 hours on my cell phone with tech support only to determine that a tech had to come out to my house. Today a tech came out and had me online in just a minute. YEA!!
Well, not exactly a big YEA!! I could get online but I couldn’t get my email through Outlook Express. Soooo, after another almost two hours on my cell phone with tech support, they determined that they don’t know what is wrong and I may not be able to use Outlook. Why that is, I don’t know because everyone else with this ISP uses it. I decided that I would delete Outlook Express and see if I could re-load it and see if that helped. I deleted it but haven’t reloaded it. I’m getting my emails from my ISP’s webmail for now. Now I have to notify everyone in my address book that I have a new email address. FUN!!
THEN, to top off a couple of very frustrating days, I pulled into my house and right in front of my garage door was what I HATE AND FEAR most in this world. A huge snake!!! Might have been a python! 🙂 Really it was a black snake or a king snake, but it might as well had been a python. UGH!! It is a wonder I didn’t run through the garage door with my car!! I pulled forward and backward over the slithering creature so many times I skinned him. Yes, he probably was in pain, but I don’t care. The only good snake is a dead snake in my opinion and I didn’t want him anywhere near my home.
I hope that by next week I can get the email thing figured out and be back in Outlook Express but at least I can send and receive email via webmail. OK, I’ve whined enough. So sorry to put you through all this but I just had to whine to someone!
