A Bird in the Hand or perhaps A Bird on the Head is Worth a Whole Lot of Joy!!

This little hummer bonked itself into our living room window on Tuesday. I went running outside and found it sitting on our deck, obviously stunned. I stroked my finger down its back a few times and it flew and landed on the edge of the window casing. I stroked it a few more times and it flew again, hovering up and down beside me. It finally landed on my head where it stayed at least 4-5 minutes. My husband took pictures with his camera phone and then went back inside and got our digital camera. The little girl finally went flying off, appearing only slightly worse for the wear. It was so cool!!
