I have not fallen off the face of the earth!! If you have tried to send me an email over the past several months and I have not answered you back, it is not because I ignored you, but rather because I have had MAJOR email problems for months.
For months now I have gotten horrible spam in my email inbox–sometimes up to 50 per day–some of it appears to be porn spam given the words in the subject line. I have done everything that Windstream instructed me to do to get rid of the spam, all to no avail. I even put a Spam Shield on my computer, again to to avail.
Earlier this week I decided to change to a local internet service provider and leave Windstream. Good grief, I had no idea it would be such a traumatic ordeal. The new ISP notified Windstream that they would be taking over service and Windstream cut me off cold–without me even notifying them or asking them to discontinue my service. Problem is the new ISP won’t have me online for at least 5 days, so I have been without internet service since Wednesday and will probably be without service for several more days. I get some email on my Blackberry, but if you have emailed me in the past couple of weeks and I have not responded, please try again and again and eventually I will hopefully get it. I can only get online when I am at my mom’s house or my husband’s office so I am not posting much until I get my service back.
I will be getting a new email address later this week and I will put that on my blog. Technology is wonderful but sometimes it can make you want to pull your hair out!! On the upside, I have had lots of time to get other things done around my home and office. So, the news isn’t all bad. Have a great weekend!!
