…….to share with you a few pictures from my weekend. My friends, Cindy and Kristin and I went to Atlanta for the Beth Moore, So Long Insecurity event at FBC Woodstock. Whew, what a weekend!!!!! We worshipped with over 10,000 of our closest friends onsite at FBCW and with at least 300,000 women worldwide. What an awesome thing!!

We met a group of really neat women for dinner on Friday night before the event. Pappsito’s was the location of choice for dinner and we descended on them like flies. There were about 30 of us at dinner and we had a great time. We met old friends and new friends. What follows is some of the pictures from that weekend.

Here is my friend Jamie (left), who I met at Young Harris College, many years ago. We had lost touch until about 18 months ago and it has been wonderful to reconnect. Also in the picture is Cindy (middle) and me.

In this picture we have the always awesome and hilarious Mary Snyder (right)and her beautiful daughter. Let me tell you this young woman proves that beauty and grace can come in one package. She was the friendliest little thing and I so enjoyed getting to know her.

At dinner on Friday night I sat next to Emily, who is Lavonda Till’s daughter. The restaurant gives all the children tortilla dough to play with. I was so impressed with Emily’s creation that I decided it deserved a picture.

Sweet, sweet Lora Osborn was such a treat to meet and give a hug.

Here are two women that I have come to love with all my heart in a short amount of time. These women are proof positive that the love of Christ bonds us together. Karen Barrows and Abby Hinton are really just the bomb!!!

Another special treat was getting to finally meet these two ladies. I’ve read their blogs but never met them. Yolanda Rogers and Fran Thomas…loved meeting you.

If Nikki was not the cutest thing around, I’m not sure who was. That warm smile and friendly hug just won my heart. Bless you, Nikki.

Georgia Jan….what a true Southern lady. It was such a pleasure to get a hug from you and finally meet you. We had talked on the phone but never met. God bless you, sweet Jan.
There were so many more wonderful ladies that I met and visited with but did not get pictures. It was a blast!!

And two of my BFFs. Kristin and Cindy…..what fun we had. Shopping at Phipps, eating lunch at Twist, laughing our heads off over all kinds of crazy thing, having a session of true confession on the way home….just being girlfriends in real life. These are two ladies whom I am privileged to get to DO life with. I had such fun girls…so much fun. Thanks for being my friends.

I’ll be back soon with more of what the Lord is teaching me through the book UnChristian. Have a great week!!!
