Blessings

{#253} – Catalyst Conference – I attended the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta on October 3-4. What a blessing! I was encouraged and challenged by a plethora of amazing speakers. I have been and I will be blogging about some of the things I experienced. Check back. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to attend.

{#254} – Cool, fall weather – I adore autumn. The cool weather is heavenly. Blessings upon blessings.

{#255} – Homemade Crockpot Apple Butter – The taste and smell of Apple Butter brings waves of wonderful memories washing over me. My grandmother always had apple butter on the breakfast table. So did my parents. I love good apple butter. This week I found a recipe from a local lady for her crock pot apple butter and I made it. Our house smelled divine and it will be so good on hot biscuits or toast.

{#256} – Radio show appearance – Later this month, I will be a guest on my friend Lisa Shaw’s BlogTalk Radio show, The Whole Woman. We will chat about LEGACY, FAITH, CHARACTER, AND HOLINESS. Lisa is such a blessing. I hope you have a chance to listen in. I’ll be posting the link closer to time.

{#257} – Football – I have come to enjoy football and we have had a ton of fun at the Georgia home games. It is a blessing to spend time with my man and with friends on Saturdays in Athens.

{#258} – Dinner guests – Recently Bree, her roommate, Emily, and their suitemate, Kaycee, came to dinner. They brought along a totally delightful pair that we thoroughly enjoyed meeting. Sebastian and William Edin are Swedish twins who are studying at Young Harris College this year. They are at YHC on tennis scholarships. They were such a hoot. The only downside to the evening was that poor William got his right index finger slammed in the car door. He was in pain most of the evening, but thankfully, nothing was broken. We look forward to getting to know them better.

{#259} – Lunch with the girls – After Tuesday morning Bible study, several from the group go to lunch. It is always a great time of laughter and fellowship. I am so blessed to be part of such a wonderful group.

{#260} – Open windows – This week I have had our windows open to allow the cool fall breeze to flow through the house. What a blessing and a delight!

What blessings are you counting today?
