I am loving our Getting to Know You posts! I’ve learned so much about so many of you that I feel like we are just old friends by now!!
Since this is Resurrection weekend, I thought we would do a Getting To Know You that is related to Easter.
Share an Easter memory with us. It can be anything at all, but must pertain to Easter.
Here’s mine and it is not at all spiritual: My mother always made our clothes and so she would make my sister and me wonderful Easter dress creations. I was so disappointed one year when I was not yet 10 years old because I would not be able to wear my new Easter dress and go to church. Why? I had the mumps! Oh, my word, my neck was so swollen and sore, I looked like I had swallowed a basketball. I was so sick but what really hurt was not being able to go to church in my new dress.
