I wanted to share with you the verses that I am memorizing for the first 15 days of February. I would love to know what Scripture(s) you are committing to memory these days. Mine are:
Isaiah 50: 4-5
“The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back.”
These verses speak so deeply to my heart and I just want to cry out to the Lord for Him to help me, not only memorize these verses, but take them into my heart and soul and feed on them.
How I long to have an instructed tongue that speaks words that sustain the weary. All too often I fear my tongue does more damage than good! 🙁
Oh how I want to NOT be rebellious or draw back from Him!!
