I was out walking and talking with the Lord this afternoon and the confetti falling from the trees was beautiful. Actually it was leaves falling but that is what it seemed like. It appeared as if God was celebrating the beauty of the season by throwing confetti!!
Autumn is my VERY favorite of all the four seasons and I began to ponder how God will ‘do’ autumn in heaven. I can’t imagine heaven without the beauty of the four seasons. We know that autumn and winter involve death and dying so perhaps God will just have the leaves and plants change their colors on a regular basis. I am not very imaginative and so I’m just going to have faith that we will see unbelievable, spectacular autumn leaves in heaven.
