CLARIFICATION:
I wanted to clarify something that I said in my last post regarding the upcoming elections.
I said, “God is in complete control and only the person who fulfills His plan will be elected and serve as President of the United States.”
Because God gave us a free will, we have the choice to make decisions that please God or decisions that do not please God. Hence, the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years because of their unbelief. The man who is elected President in November may or may not be the one whom God’s perfect will desires to lead this county, yet God, in His permissive will, allows us the choice. My Calvinist friends may disagree with me on this. 🙂
Regardless of who is elected, God will not be surprised by the choice and He will not leave us defenseless.
