This is Greg’s trophy from Wisconsin!

For the first few years of our almost 14 year marriage, I didn’t appreciate what an awesome man the Lord sent me. It is a wonder Greg didn’t dump my carcass in a ditch somewhere on a lonely road, but thankfully he didn’t. Believe me, I have made more than my share of mistakes in our marriage, but with the help of the Lord, I am hopefully making fewer of them these days.

There are so many things I love and respect about my man. He is very smart with a degree in pharmacy and a degree in Dentistry. His patients praise his skills as a dentist and little kids just love him. He is athletic and can play most any sport pretty darned well. He is very practical and wise. He can do electrical work, wood work, plumbing and many other tasks that make him incredibly handy around the house.

He is great at dishwasher and laundry duty and he is a pretty darned good cook!!

He is quick witted and funny and comes up with some of the most hilarious things to say.
Greg loves to hunt and shoot and you would only take 2 steps into our home before you figured that out. We have Wild Kingdom minus Marlin Perkins at our house but the kingdom is all stuffed and mounted subjects! We have a multitude of huge deer hanging on the walls, along with a coyote, a bear, wild boar, lots of ducks and geese and other cute little birds. We have turkey fans galore and a huge elk that towers over our living room.

Although I love many things about my man, one thing has really been on my mind of late. As you know, I am a pharmacist by training, however I work only two days a week at that job. The rest of my time is spent in doing the books for our home and Greg’s office and ministry activities, either for The Point Ministries or our church’s Women’s Ministry.

Greg graciously encourages me to only work two days a week so that I can spend time on the things that I consider to be my passion and calling, i.e. ministry, writing and speaking. He could easily ask me to work fulltime but he doesn’t and for that I am so very grateful.

So, Greg I love you and I thank you for being such a great provider. Thank you for encouraging me and allowing me to follow the call that the Lord has placed on my life. I love you!!
